who is local (Vancouver/Burnaby/Surrey) that I can get motor mounts and shocks for a 1991 Golf? thanks

Altrom, Wordpac, Autohaus.

all depends if you want chinese made crap or german.

Lordco no longer carries Altrom since napa is in partnership with Altrom now. They carry Beck/arnley which is hit and miss from  crap to excellent.

Not quite Vancouver, Burnaby or Surrey but AVR in Abbotsford will have all the water cooled parts you may need.

i was going to mention that too. plus, avr supports this website so why not support them!!

ive had good luck with autohaus in burnaby...
seems like they carry a lot of good stuff
