Title: M&h Dot Drag Tires

As many of you have seen on the Cal-Look Forum, John Hashim of Hashim's M&H has pled our case with the M&H home office and has received the green light to produce 6-26 x 15 DOT street tires exclusively for us, the performance VW people. This is a very big deal! Never before has a tire manufacturer stepped up and offered to build a tire like this just for us! The catch is that Hashim's has to pre-order at least 100 pairs in order to make it financially viable for the company. At $138 each, M&H will be breaking even on the development of this tire. This tire is just what the VW crowd needs to compete in the D.O.T. street tire classes at the \"import\" events. It's time to ditch the heavy recapped slicks that many of us run on the street and support John with this effort. Please call John @ (661) 324-4773 and pre-order a set today. If this doesn't work this time, I can guarantee that we will never have this chance again.

i'm # 53 on the list.
if anyone in b.c. wants to order them, you can drop ship them to my house and pick them up. i'm in renton, wa.

i think i was the first canadian at #6 too get a order going.not sure if any other canucks have jumped on board.
i would hope more people would be interested in this product , most don't likely realize what a great chance this is.many ,many moons ago i ran a set of recapped slicks and proudly used those at every stop light i could.i'm sure if this ever gets off the ground this will become a must have product on every air coolers rod.
can't wait........

turns out i was not #6 like a thought but was actually #2 !!!go canada
seams i will be #2 to get my tires ,talked too john today and confirmed shipping etc -can't wait to get them.also they will not need tubes!
will post a picture when they arrive ,but that a while down the road.
there is only 3 sets coming too canada,myself on the west coast and 2 others back east.
soon will be time too turn the old recaps into wall clocks

shipping to canada. what part of edmonton are you in ?
i think i will send mine too blaine and do a pick-up there as i need some thing from bergs and can ship there more easy than into canada through u.p.s. plus it's a great excuse too get cheap gas and beer ,it seams the call you will get is more or less to double queck shipping address and u.p.s costs
make sure too post a picture of them when you get them.

No, but just thought I would poke fun at myself for not doing anything on it for a long time. It will get done (summer 2005 here I come). Now all I need is to figure out the tranny situation....Bruce!? ;)
Good to hear that they finally got to 100. I'm actually suprised it took as long as it did.
