Would this turbo work with an aircooled motor? Is the rest of it a fuel injection system?

But it's good for you! I don't know if the turbo would be the correct one for your application, but the Innovate and Megasquirt systems can definitely be used on your VW. Do a price check, on the various components.

What size engine do you have? That turbo would be well suited for a 1776-2110... It may be a bit laggy on a smaller engine

I have an 1835 and a 2110. Might have to stick with carbs for now due to funds. Sort of posted it if anyone else might be interested.
