Title: Venting My Block
Post by: driverfound269 on March 31, 2008, 09:05:57 AM
Can I vent crankcase gases through the fuel pump hole since I'm running a electric fuel pump?
Or could it be used as a oil return from cooler?
Thoughts anyone?
Thanks
Mike

as a breather yes definatly, as a oil return point? not a chance. the oil returning from your cooler hasnt been to the bearings yet....

not sure what you're building but I seem to recall someone with a rev monster motor having problems venting from the fuel pump plate. something about a lot of oil getting flung up through the line and filling the breather box, overflowing before it could drain back. I want to say it was jim martin, could be wrong though

Return the remote cooler to the fuel pump block off, no dont do that.  Either full flow the case or buy a full flow oil pump like this http://www.cip1.ca/ProductDetails.asp?Prod...C%2DC10%2D5386E (http://www.cip1.ca/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=ACC%2DC10%2D5386E)
