i am looking to convert an automatic bus to a 4 spd. is this worth the undertaking?

Doable - Yes

Worth it - I doubt it

I have done it with a bug many years ago and it never worked properly. There are enough decent standard bay windows around, no need to go through such a process.

We have several tranny experts (I am not one of them) on this forum that might have a different opinion.
