WTF did he take off again?.. If I landed that close to the ground.. you sure the hell couldn't force me back up again.!

Wow!! He definantly had to abort and shoot the late missed approach. He was insane for attempting a landing with that severe of a crosswind. I wouldn't even let the pilot attempt the approach if he was landing at my airport!

That was friggin' awesome! I've done worse in a little 6 passenger plane but never in a big boy. I'll fly with that pilot any day :rockon:

All that stuff is at least 10 years old, but still awesome (especially to those who haven't seen it 30 times). My hero is the 47 piliot, 2nd to last. He tosses that thing aboot like a toy.
The engine explosion has been added recently to that clip, btw.

In case anyone cares.....The 777 landings in the video are all tests by boeing and the FAA. The airplanes have to be able to land in severe crosswinds in order to be certified for commercial use.

that guys huge set must have righted that plane and kept it from crashing.
