Title: New Member W/'65 Type 2 Crew Cab
Post by: RAD356RS on February 05, 2008, 02:35:50 PM
I recently purchased this '65 pickup.  I'm fairly new to the air cooled scene but currently have a couple of cars (912E + Intermeccanica 6 Roadster) along with this 2110/Miller FI powered pickup.  I look forward to meeting other enthusiasts in the upcoming months.  Here's a couple of thumbnails of the truck.

Thanks for the welcome.  I think I'm going to enjoy this group.  I've tried to post an avatar unsuccessfully so here's another thumbnail of the other two AC cars I mentioned.  The thumbs will enlarge when clicked.

Thanks for the compliments on the shop and cars/pu.
The '76 912E is stock, the 2007 IM Roadster is full 911 suspension, brakes, steering etc. with a RS spec 2.7 with PMO's and a ltd. slip 915.  We drive 'em all as much as we can.

Good guess.  The DC will serve as our studio vehicle while our '52 Merc pickup is getting some rest and refurb after 14 years of service.
