Title: First Year Of Fuel Injection?

What was the first year of fuel injection for the bug?  Would a '74 be injected?  What is a Beetle \"sport\" in 73/74

1994 in Mexico.


In 73, VW came out with a special edition called the Sports Bug, or Sports Beetle.  This was built on a Super Beetle only and came in 2 colours, blue and yellow.
