Title: Porsche Solex Carbs

A friend of mine is selling these, i have never seen these in a VW, im wondering if anyone else has ? And are they are good in a performance VW application ?

Back in the 70's one of the mechanics (Al Land?)at Speedway motors here in Victoria was running those on his bug. That car was very fast! So they can be made to work but I'll bet some Porsche resto guy will pay more than they are worth to someone for VW use.
