Title: Anyone Interested In A 21 Window Project ?

Hey guys, im going to let you know when interesting VW's pop up at salvage auctions which i have access to buy. A few weeks ago was that 1958 Single cab, and now there is a 1965 21 window samba that looks like it was restored and then cought fire.

Yes its a big project but i think its savable, and rust free which is hot. Anyhow it will be auctioned off on the 31st of january and will most likely be pretty cheap.

Can you get some pics of the interior? I'm guessing it doesnt run?

I think it needs new interior stuff (all)

Agreed, the interior is trashed, but i think most if not all of the seat frames and such are there so it can be put back together with new springs/ upholstery and such.

cool idea with the heads up jakob.

to whomever may be interested....take note that fire consumed 2/3's of that vehicle and with fire comes heat....and with heat comes warped panels.

i'm not saying that it cant be fixed, i'm just saying that there may be potential problems with wavy panels.
