Just looking for some recommendations for a good air cooled mech in the area in case I ever need one... never know right...

I have a shop in East Van.
I work on aircooled vw's
have been for years so if you need some help
or know someone who does
feel free to give me a call
I have references but am not licensed
so don't expect to pay 60 to 90 bucks an hour!

im in port moody but spend a great deal of time in kits.

You might want to check these guys out. They used to do a lot of ACVW vehicles. And they're probably closer to you too.

i'd help you out but i'm lacking a place to work on the car and i'm tied up with my own work/projects/life/etc.

i used to work there and he is an honest and reliable guy with a reasonable shop rate. he is also very handy with acvw's and all makes & models of imports and domestics.
