Are the T-bars staying?
you asked me this too...why are you wondering?
Stephan

you asked me this too...why are you wondering?
Stephan
thats funny stephan, i was thinking the same thing.
maybe he needs a pair, or maybe in his past life a set of t-bars haunted his everyday life, putting salt in his gas tank and filling his mail box with junk mail.
whats the story ehos?
-
I bet not post a pic of my tbars :)
-
Holy Decklid!! I'm in love.
T-bars usually scream out to me, 'I'm waiting for more cash so I can slap down for some triple chrome bumpers!!'
:) Or you've got a removeable rear valance and pull your engine quite often.
No offense intended, just wondering like I said. To each their own.
-
Man, that's one HORNY decklid. I gotta background that image.
:o
-
True on the tbars - cept mine are polished aluminum - took me alot off hours to get them sexy smooth.
-
yeah, that deck lid is the real deal.i'm always wondering,or worrying that someone is gonna drill the back end,and kill that lid.silas, they are from 914 porche, and are vdo\"s.as soon as i borrow a digi cam,i'll take some shots for you. there is a speedo, tach, clock, cyl head temp, amp, volts, bar, cels, also fuel tank(level).i am trying to stay old school 70's looker.interior is leather, with rabbit seats.i didn't like the dash at first, but now i like it alot. thanks again guys paul
-
YAH, I've got the bumpers at home that are in perfect shape with powder coated brackets, but I just prefer the t-bars. its true cal-look, weight saver, and it looks mean. did the DKP 1 cars have full bumpers? If I remember correctly they mostly all ran some sort of a t-bar. its also less common, thats why people do it.
james, your t-bars are killer, I looked at the pics when you posted them.
Stephan

i think most of the first generation der kleiner panzers (dkp 1) ran full bumpers, or no bumpers at all.
-
Deffinetly one of my favorite ovals from edmonton.Speaking of vert decklids anyone have one for a 67. :D
-
Uh, yeah, anyone have another W Vert decklid for sale? :)
(Seriously, how much?)
Hey Btljuice, does your shop do machine work? And is the big motor gonna go in the Oval?
jp
-
yeah i do some machining on some vw stuff, but mostly domestic stuff, call me and we'll figure something out! and the 2332 IS going in the oval
-
Yeah, Paul's car is pretty horny B) . Can't wait to see it in person.
I think we should be able to put on a good show when we line up against each other with the two 2332 powered ovals! Maybe a burnout contest in the near future at one of the shows!
-
thanks trev! yeah i'm all over the burnout thing,we will definately hook up for an oval showdown when we're both ready!!!!
-
your car looks great / clean . i'm sure a fan of black, always looks hot.
-
thanks jim!
