I see them used on the samba anywhere from $80-150 depending on condition and how rare that model is.

The Berg shifter is well worth the money. Its by far the best shifter for any performane application. I would highly recommend them, its worth the extra cash. I'm pretty sure that they are worth around 150.00 new but you'd have to double check on that one with Geoff

best of luck with whichever you decide to go on. i will keep my eyes open for you.

from what i've heard and again what notchback said, the berg shifter is proven to be one of, if not the best, performance shifter out there.

What's it worth.....

Ever miss a shift with a cheap shifter and rev the engine until the fan belt comes off?

The belt usually gets thrown at 8000rpm, so if your engine can't handle 8k or you don't have a rev limiter... get a Berg shifter.
