Title: Can Beetle Parts Find A Ghia

I just bought a '70 Ghia that needs work but I also have a lead on a '72 bug for cheap and was wondering if there was anything from the bug that I could use on the Ghia (other then motor) or are they totally seperate vehicles

i have no experiance with this but i would say no completly different cars.
mabey a couple of switches but for the most part i would think no

As they are both type 1, most if not all the mechanicals are the same. Things like window winders and door handles would be the same too.

I've heard that there are similiar parts but I wasn't sure how much could transfer over to make it worth while to buy the bug

with a cut cut here and a cut cut there....bug fenders will fit on a ghia!!!
