now i'm sure everone has recieved and given a wedgie but,lets stay away from that.
got my motor on the bench and i have some oil staining from behind the flywheel,so i best pull off the flywheel and take a peak.i used to have a separation tool made from a old clutch that bolted on but its long gone.
any easy tips/meathods too seperate it?

You need to either use the specific tool for removing a wedgemated flywheel, I think it is sold by Ron Lummus or be lucky with two large flat head screw drivers behing the flywheel

It can be done without much effort if you use a large gear puller, remove the gland nut install puller, center in crank, three arms on ring gear .... load with some tension and tap ring gear with hammer. POP!!!!!! off it comes, as easy as that. Some will take a little more force than others. Done many of mine that way. I have the puller if ya need it.
