allthough, i'm wondering if standards had the script or if they were only on deluxe models.

My recollection is that the emblem is supposed to be rotated ccw a bit more than Gerry's.  The word \"Volkswagen\" is angled up to the right such that the VW logo is straight to the world.
I just did some measurements and came up with the word \"Volkswagen\" tilted up by 15

Thanks guys for the help, now if one of you lads can help me find a rear dealer license plate frame from BC out of metal, my 56 can show it's
history to all down here as it blaze's by then at 55 with a tail wind.. cheers.
Here is the one I got from Shawn at Vintage Volkswagens in glendale, ca... After reading the orig post from above from the paste, I'm a bit disapointed,It would be nice to fine an orig one, but we'll make do with what we have.. This one looks pretty fair to me, and should look fine on bullet's right rear. thanks again for your help and knowledge..dave
