just a heads up for anyone selling a car... apparently this guy is targeting VW owners/sellers.

Seller Beware

Police are warning residents about a car thief who responds to sale advertisements listed in the newspaper and poses as a potential buyer. A Port Coquitlam woman is recovering from a scraped elbow after the car thief pushed her out of her 2000 Grey Volkswagen (BCL 278-KDC) just before he drove away with her car. The male called about her vehicle advertised for sale in the paper and attended her residence on Colonial Drive to test drive the car on July 06 around 8pm. He was polite and appeared genuinely interested in the vehicle. After a short test drive he pushed her out of the passenger seat as she exited the vehicle. He is described as a Caucasion, 6', 180lbs,30years old, short spiked dyed blond hair with a tattoo on the right side of his neck which extended under his ear. He was in the company of a Caucasian male described as 5'9\", 25-30 year
