Best Buy Canada is actively seeking 100-150 new employees for shift work at their Western Canada Distribution Centre in the months leading up to Christmas. Hiring has already started. New hires are on a contract basis, and the best can expect an offer of permanent employment. The starting wage is $11.50 per hour with scheduled annual raises based on target performance, plus a great benefits package for permant full-time employees. Limited benefits are offered to permanent part-time employees, including staff discounts and bonus rewards. The Distribution Centre at 92A and 200th St. in Langley is 434,000 square feet and serves all Best Buy and Future Shop locations in Western Canada. Experience is an asset, but is by no means necessary as full training is provided, included machine training and certification on various types of materials handling equipment.
It's a good work environment where the company goes out of their way to show appreciation for the employees. The training is good and everyone is made to feel comfortable. Definite career potential.
