Title: 1974 Color
Post by: Billyisgr8 on May 22, 2007, 01:27:48 PM: Was this color green available in 1974? This is just a picture off the samba,

I just bought a 1974 this color green, beetle with irs suspension... that has been sitting for 12 years. it has the sport wheels on it, I couldn't crawl under the car to see the transmission to verify the year

I thought this green was only available later. Will find out more once it gets here. The mirror is the same green, it has black door handles on it.

Post by: Billyisgr8 on May 23, 2007, 11:03:08 PM: It has so many boxes of parts with it, I won't know if it is missing anything till I get into it, which won't be until my new garage is done, I will have many other projects to do first, so reality would be next year at the earliest. It most likely will become my daughters when done.

Post by: AirCooledRules on May 25, 2007, 07:16:49 PM: As far as i know Lofoten is an Early Golf colour, 74-78ish. I sopose it could be a beetle colour at the same time.
