hey i was wondering of what people thought about selling my pedals to a guy that repro's a ton of stuff?

he say's on his ads he does not sell other peoples stuff but his email to me

Ad: repro cruiser pedals - 65.00

Russ: any better price for parts dealers ?? i would like to try one in my split and then i would like to include it in my products catalog in Argentina .

i am just curious if he plans to buy mine then make them himself and sell tons of them?part of me says no because he can easily find an original to copy.anybody have thoughts on wether i should sell to him?i do have an email into him about selling my stuff and him claiming no third party sales

Seems like he has the ability to reproduce parts, if you want to protect your product then I would not sell to him.

From his ads

I CAN REPRO ANY PART UNDER SPECIAL REQUEST , NO MATTER ABOUT QUANTITIES.

I MANUFACTURE EVERY REPRO PART ADVERTISED BY ME , I DO NOT BUY FROM THIRD PARTIES JUST TO RESELL

I agree - you spent the time and effort making them and I am sure he will just repop them and call them his own.

Look into licensing etc if your thinking of allowing someone else to sell them..

i am reproing a product where the patent ran out,little ironic i think
i have heard back from him now.he is basically saying he could repro an original no problems but mine are available for a good price and quality is there he would just like to list them on his catalog in argentina.
i will give it more thought but thanks for the input guys.
the local supplier acvw.net will be selling these as well

Your thinking is right, Russ.  He could repro a real one if he wanted, so I doubt he will repro yours.

As far as his question about a discount for parts dealers, only if he buys quantity, and only if you want to sell at a discount in quantity.  If he just wants just one, he should pay exactly the same price that other people who want only one pedal.  Just because he

I don't think he would repo them, your already doing it in his mind. Unless you have flaws that he is going to correct and resell a Better product and slam yours! I have three of yours and i think they are great!
I still would be wary.

Have you asked him why yet? Or does he want to list them for your behalf on his website?
