Well, I managed to finally get an engine in my car last nite(friday). Not the engine I planned on putting in there but it will have to do for 3-4 months. It's a low compression, mild cam 2275 and should be a nice driver. I still have some plumbing, wiring and figuring out to do in the engine compartment but it's full steam ahead! I'm shooting for having it on the road in possibly 6 weeks. I'll get some pics up in a couple weeks when I mount the last few Items on the fire wall and get the IDA's on!
Big thanks to 56vw for helping out last nite and Geoff who's been doing my wiring for me...without him I doubt my car would see the road at all this year!

Ya, 2332cc with lots of goodies is the plan....I have all the pieces...hopefully I can get it assembled before the Great Canadian weekend!
Gary...how long did it take to get your bumpers? Thats the only thing I don't have for the car.

Still looks like a mess but i'm getting there! Should be able to fire it up in a few more weeks!

Love that avatar Cheech! will let you know when it's gonna happen....don't want too many people around tho...most people can't stand to see a grown man cry...tears of joy it it runs good and...well...uncontrolable sobbing if it doesn't ! :blink:
