When it is done, take it to Brian at Apex powdercoating on Buller in Bby.  Tell him I sent you.

I'am not yet at the stage of having my car blasted. But I have often wondered how soon do you need to protect the bare metal with a primer or other material?

Usually the advice is to do it very quickly. Its pretty moist here....

It depends where you take it. If your garage is warm or heated then it can be in bare metal a long time. I had some fenders media blasted last year and i just looked at them and they are still fine, but they are in the house.

Best is to take it straight to get primered just to be safe.

rusty as in they have mad holes in them =). But im surprized myself they are clean. Though, since they have been kept dry and moisture free, they are fine.  Unless i cant see it.

But ofcourse, Primering Asap after blasting is always best.

you can't see it.

Bare metal will instantly start to deteriorate, its the nature of the beast.

Your telling me its going down the shitter, i have a car at the body shop in the area and ive been spending some time there recently, and i though vancouver and burnaby had a lot of shady people.

I always thought Langley was further removed from the trash and was a nice place, but damn, i dont think ive seen that many crack heads and sketchy people since the last time i drove through the downtown east side.

Either way, notch looked hot and caught the eye.
