When i was in Mexico there were a few of the new, New Beetle Buggie kit cars driving around. You could rent one for roughlt $75 usd a day. It is a fiberglass body mounted on a std beetle pan. It has T roofs, duck tail, raised fenders, projector head lights, removable doors and four bucket seats. These are very cool when you see them driving down the road, i did a double take when we saw the first one.

One of these on a raised pan with some nice off road suspension would be cool cruising the dunes or the streets of Vancouver. Love em or Hate em, i think they are kinda neat.
