Im looking into getting a set of wide whitewall tires for my bug but was looking for some educated input.
I have a basic idea of what size I need...
My bug has the stock spindles with a bugpack adjustable beam, OG wide 5 smoothies on 63 drums, lowered.
Currently I have Continental 165's on the back, and 135 Camao's on the front. I get the tiniest amount of rubbing on the front when I have the tire CRANKED to either side. So not to worried about the minor rubbing up there. On the back they are very close to my hide away exhaust, but not touching or burning.
What I need is a little direction on a brand that has something that will work for me, and who I should contact in the area to order them. I'd rather not mail order, but if I have to, I will...
Any input or suggestions?
Thanks,
Joel

Thanks Shawn,
I'm aware of Cokertire.com... Was wondering .... once all the smoke cleared and duties paid, what was the approx. cost involved, and how long for the shippment to arrive to you?
I have heard that locally, Country tire is still dealing in specialty tires, but I haven't dealt with them in a long time. I think I'll fly out there today and see what I can find out.
Thanks again,
Joel

Regarding the duties at the border, I just had to pay for the sales tax.
I bought these at the Goodguy's Street Rod Show in Pullalip, Wa
So there was no shipping costs
