Title: 94mm Cylinders That Fit A 92mm Case?
Post by: egspot on March 26, 2007, 12:15:33 PM
Add:

Brand new mahle 94mm B pistons balanced & lightend with rings and new autocraft 94mm cylinders sleved to fit 92mm case.

My Questions:

Your add does not make sense to me and I would like to get more specifics. Here is a few questions:

The cylinders fit a case opened/bore to fit 92mm/90.5mm? Or do they fit a case opened/bore to fit 94mm?

Another possibility is that they are 92mm pistons and cylinders but the cylinders are the thick cool ones that fit a case opened for 94mm cylinders? [_[

His Answer:

They are 94mm cylinders and had them machined to fit 90.5/92mm case, not the thick wall cylinders that work with 94mm case and can use 92mm pistons.

Any one ever heard of this and why would anyone do this?[/

Simple:

You don't need to open your case to upgrade to a 94 - just cut your heads.  Lots of people use them, they work.
