anything new going on? im not in the loop so i have to ask lol
btw this question is prompted from seeing speed-e in the april hot vw issue
whats going on now after airspeed and the heb?
-
At the moment no VW projects but I'm very busy with a 1931 Ford project. I'm building a early style Hot Rod for a guy from the ground up. It's going to be a pretty cool car when it's done, 1931 5 window now with a 5\" chop..4\" channel over a custom built frame, 3\" kick in the fron 16\" in the rear. Crate 350 with vintage Tri Power,5 speed, 50 merc dash. Lot's of fun but still a long way off.
I'll post a few pic's later...if anyones interested.

Next is the rear, Ford diff, So Cal hairpins, coils and pan hard....and more holes!

Motor test fit, once in all three carbs will sit at the same height as the center one.

50 Merc dash, narrowed to fit the small model A body

last the body after many days fitting the stock roof back on and setting the door jams....then a 5\" chop.

It's almost a roller now, wheels are out to be powder coated (thanks Russ) and awaiting tires. Still 2-3 months of work but it's coming along.

Hi Geoff,
Congrats on the heb.
Who bought it?
The Ford looks great.
I remember when I saw you driving the Heb@Goodguy's in Pullalip!
That reminds me, I should start planning for that trip.
Are you going to the Classic this year?
