for the lowest non adjustable suspension, can you have beam adjusters that are welded up?
-
IIRC this class is for non-air and non hydraulic adjustable cars, so if you can change the ride height on the fly then you dont qualify.
-
so in other words i can use beam adjusters?
-
yes you can

nice B)

This is a great show that I know everyone looks forward to every year. Everyone needs to help these guys out and make sure this show is around for a long time.
What can we do to help them?
Sponsorship is always a big one. If you know someone with a business who would be interested in helping out, (they always announce the sponsors on the PA all day as well as include them on flyers and web sites) A great way to get some exposure.
If your on another forum what ever it is,DOV,VVWC, I support Stripper Moms.com.....whatever. Just spread the word and make this a huge event.
Bring the family, It's not just a car event these guys have it at a nice location with Play area for the kids, water park BMX track. Lots to do while the event is going on.
With all the VW shops closing we need to support those who keep the old VW's alive and these are one of the groups that do it.
Geoff.

Any word on what the movies will be or is it just a regular night at the Drive-In with whatever is playing that week? Sounds like a cool pre-event either way.
-
Unfortunately we were unable to make a commitment to get a private function, so it will be whatever movies are playing. Hopefully they will be good ones.

sweet, i can make the cruise
-
Got an FM radio in yer car?
-
Yes you will need an FM radio, a portable stereo or a walkman if you want.
Bruce will need someone to go with seeing as he is afraid of technology and doesnt understand FM radio :P
-
Got an FM radio in yer car?
Make sure it's got a digital tuner too, the signal there is so weak you cant get it with a knob and scale style radio.
-
yep, its got a modern stereo in it. im set B)
-
Hmmm, hadn't thought of that. One more thing to add to the list. Just when you think you are done.......
-
I hope they serve Cola...I'm sittin with Silas!!!
i hope you like cuddling....cause once i get a couple colas in me.....
-
I just threw up in my mouth a little bit
-
Do we have to pay for the movie when we enter early? I'd like to hang out for a while after the cruise but not stay for the movie (don't want to drive to Blaine or Sumas to get across the border when it's over). It looks like my daughter is going to have a car full (sister, friend & cousin) but I'll be going solo.
-
I would assume that you would have to ask at the gate,
-
How big are the swap spots?
-
good question, that will tell how much i can bring!
Can i take them all??
-
We will try to accomodate everyone, but normally two parking stalls is what you get.

Hats off to Jason (Slammedbus) for the his paintjob and winning "Best Paint". Truly amazing work! Also special thanks to Brian (Redsnapper) for the incredible interior and convertible top. You Guys Rock

Fantastic show dglvk. Congrats to all that won and all that braved the early morning weather to come out and support. Well worth the drive from Salmon Arm. Heading home tomorrow morning bright and early. Till then I'll be helping Slammedbus empty what's left of beverage from a certain Coca-Cola Cooler.
-
thanks for my first show and my cars first show. had a great time at the cruise and the show. ill be at any future events guaranteed
-
Thanks to all the people who set the event up including the sponsors, you all did a great job.
It was great meeting and talking to a few more people and seeing some sweet rides.
My kids enjoyed painting the bunny and had a great time. My youngest daughter was blown away when she won the big basket of goodies for her guess in the jellybean contest. Last year at the GCVW show she was a little disapointed she didn't get anything in the t-shirt toss etc. so this was her year! Oh ya thanks (I think to James?) for making my little girl feel special by giving her a prize for having a sprained wrist, she gave me the coffee mug ;]
Cheers and see y'all soon.

Sorry no valve cover racers this year, weather certainly was not our friend.
The DGLVK would like to thank everyone that came out and supported our event from the cruise to the show, despite the rain it was still a success.
Those who did not make it out missed out on the new vendor setups, the prizes, some killer swap meet deals and James wearing a cowboy hat! (what is with that anyway?)
I have some great deals on shirts as well, we have a lot of shirts leftover and will be parting with them.
Sizes from Youth Large to XXX Large. PM me for Details.
$16 plus you get a free rootbeer lollipop and a coupon for a Root Beer Float courtesy of A&W in Newton (7330 King George Hwy) While Supplies Last.
