Title: How To Replace The Ugly 1973 Front Seats?

The mounting system changed in 1973 and they put in  this ugly high back seats. Would 1974 seats fit right in without modifications to the pan?

I think you answered your own question here. Unless you can somehow change the mounting system on the seats you are SOL.

Yes , a 74 seat should fit a 73 car. I'm pretty sure all the tracks are the same from 73 on , even for type 3's.......I think
