Just picked up a new bus but the sunroof is leaking bad ...no cables and no seal to speak of and apparantly 1 of four drains are not hooked up. I can see daylight at the rear due to the fact that the sunroof is just a little lower than the roof. It slides by hand smooth enough to open and \"close\". I know nothing about these sunroofs but have been told they are a nightmare .If any one knows someone that is familliar with these or can themselves fix this ...let me know ...any help would be appreciated !!
Thanks Carlos

:o Clear tub caulking till the weather improves and then like you said hook up he drains and find some felt they are a nice option and you will probably want to you use it .This will get you through till better weather . Had one in one of my old buses and loved it

The felt is just there to stop the wind whistle. With properly functioning drains it won't leak when closed.
Somebody is reproducing sunroof cables for those now (search the samba)
Until then duct tape or aluminum tape (easier to get off)
Try pushing it forward while you crank, it might close up the last little bit, if not maybe some wedges in the back.

Thanks for the info guys ...I tried to find cables on line ( new or used ) but no luck . I dont have to drive it so it will go under a tarp for now .
I'm gonna try the wedges and tape for now ( good idea ).
If anyone stumbles onto a supplier please let me know...
Thanks again

go to a home depot and ask for a removable silicone that is used as a draft stop you put it on it dries and when you are ready to peel off it comes of real nice I use it on my house windows almost every year ond it works like a hot dam
