according to Google, 13 hours 56 min for a distance of 978.9 miles. Google maps have been pretty accurate in the past, and Canada isn't that far away from the good ol' USA.

i used to drive to reno at least 4-6 times a year, which is closer than slc.. it was at least a good 16 hours, and my right foot is solid lead.
