i belive it was about 6grand but not 100% on that

That Buggy was originally built by Dieter of Bow Wow(one of the original owners) .Don't know much about the buggy or who owns it now but Dieter always took His projects very seriously.
-
yea person who owns it now says he has the entire build file, every part and every hour spent building the car documented. glad to hear it was built by someone knowledgeable
should be going to look at it tomorrow if i can find the time.
-
so i didnt get a chance to go look at it because of time ect, the guy told me his dad built it so guess he is related to the bow wow owner. hes had the car for over a year trying to sell it and says he might send it to auction soon

OK Guys.
I went and saw it. I wish I could but having my 66 not sold, kind of killed my chances.
This is the real deal and those of you thinking about playing the baja game should save your self some money and see this machine before you order all the stuff you will need.
It has the wheels, the IRS trany with a low gear set inside, the seats and four point harnesses, the adjustable front end, steering brakes, and a 1910cc, 40mm2v Delorto carb, counterweighted crank, lightened flywheel.
What can i say, I felt for it but since I will need a daily driven, i can not buy it and modify it because I do not have the money and I personally feel it would be crime to do so.
Best of luck.
-
doesnt it just need a top and it could be daily driven?
wish i had of known about it sooner though :(

Hi name is Gary.
His home number is 604-599-9477
Here is the info:
Transmission is IRS with a low gear set inside. This car has steering brakes, bikini top, tow bar , balanced crank in a 1910 cc engine with a lightened flywheel, HD clutch, speed shifter, VDO guages, tach, nice wheels and tires, adjustable seats, four point harnesses, fuel shut-off, fuel pressure regulator, bosch 009 distributor, skid pan. I can't remember all the info in the add but there is so many little things that have been done to it to make it special.
Please respond to gamika@shaw.ca reference dune buggy.
I almost did it.
Hope that helps.
