well a 911 motor is worth good money, that would be the first year of the 2.7L at the very least a couple grand, and everything in that car is worth money, not just guages, you could part out that car, no matter what kind of 911 it is on Ebay for good money.

on the other hand if its a 914 targa, then its not really worth drooling over unless its a smoking deal.

its hard to say prices because we would need to see pictures of what shape the cars are in, has it been sitting for years, how many miles on the motor ect.

Motor and trans wont fit a bug but will work in a T2 very well. Too bad it has the mechanical inj on it. If it's a good running motor and trans I may be interested.

Just remember you'll also need to mount the external oil tank, hoses, lines and sutch for the motor. The shift rod also hangs very low so you'll need to make a good strong skid plate to protect it. Sure would be fun in buggy.

that and what happens when you break the motor, it'l be friggin expensive to fix, id say sell the motor and build a nice type 1 motor... imo

You should think of a weight balance for the front.  The 911 motor weighs at least double what a VW motor weighs.

If its a 87 or 88 then its a 3.2L with a G50 transmission , very very nice.

The engine is worth about $4500 and the Transmission is worth $3000 alone. These are not inflated values, these are realistic values, so if its a good deal definetly get it.

Though with parts this nice, i would sell them to a bus/ Vanagon guy, or Even a 911 guy, and use the money to build a type 1 motor/ trans and go on vacation.
