...i want to keep stock rims with moon caps...
ditto on the 135/15's or 145/15's for the front.
the 205/70/15's or 205/65/15's would be perfect for the back (as long as the offset of the wheel is allright). however, i would not recommend mounting a tire that wide on a stock 4\" wide rim.
i'm in the same boat (wanting to run big & littles on stock steel smoothies) and i am seriously considering getting greens automotive to widen my rear wheels to 5.5\" or 6\". i called and they quoted me $150 per wheel.

Last year I ran 215/70's in the back and 135's up front for the street. This year I am going with the same 215's in the rear and 175/55's up front - gonna look bitchen'...

He wants to keep the stock rims on the car. Suggesting a 205/70 or a 215 tire is obsurd unless there is a 5.5\"+ rim size in the rear

Simple, run a set of widened stockers on the back. Then you can easily accomodate some 205/70's back there no problem.

I went with the extra tall rears because I can't afford a freeway flyer tranny. With 165's I was winding out pretty good at about 65 mph. With the 195's I can cruise comfortably all day at 75 mph and not feel like I'm going to get knocked off the highway by an SUV, and I've still got a few extra rpm left over if I need to pass. I was a little concerned about the lower highway rpm causing the engine to run hotter (lower rpm = lower fan speed) but I haven't noticed any change.
As a side note, I have had the front end adjusted about 2\" lower than where it sits now with no tire/fender clearance issues with the 145's and the stock width k&l beam.
