Why would you go either way?

Depends on what you want to use the car for, and what setup you currently have. I have no problem at all with swingaxle handling and ride for a daily driver. Even with stock wheels/tires I find that a swingaxle car can be driven fairly enthusiastically without getting into trouble. You really need to ask yourself what you want out of the car. Do you want it to handle like a sportscar, or do you just plan on driving it to work, etc?

I prefer the Swingaxle transmission.
