Title: Tranny Mount?

I am about to swap the 68 tranny that is currentlyin my 58 bug with a split case tranny. Before I embark on this adventure. I was wondering if the Tranny mount/bracket, the big U in the back by the engine, that is currently used to support the 68 tranny will work when I stick in the stock split case?

It will work, however, I don't know for sure if it is identical to the original one that was installed by the factory.

I have yet to carefully inspect the bracket, but I doubt it since nothing in that damn car is original. It also seems newer. I will eventually have to hunt one down. I assume if the newer style bracket works then the the two rubber mounts, whether they be the older or newer style will work as well?
