well it looks like its fairly clean other then some rust u will need to replace the heater channel though on the one side but other then that a bit of sanding i would personally get the body sandblasted and repainted but if ur on a tight budget then dont worry about it but ya lower it through some wheels on it new engine and it should be alright have fun with it

Stephan...I'm  gonna be out of the picture for a few months after Christmas...I'm scheduled for surgery...hence my user name!
After that I'm 200% committed to having my car ready for June plus I have two other people waiting  that I have promised I'd do their cars. I won't be looking at anything else till the end of the summer. I doubt you'll wait that long but I might be able to do it then.
Car looks pretty solid tho....Is it gonna be a stocker?

its staying a stocker right now because the owner is 68 years old and wants to re-plate the collector plates again.

Jeff, the motor is fine.  just needs to be cleaned up and tuned up. yes, it just needs that back heater channel and maybe the rear corner of the pan.

Gerry,  I hope everything goes well for you in surgery.  If you know of another person that could take on the task, let me know.

The whole car won't be blasted, only the pan, inner fenders, lower body, basiclly all of the \"rusty areas\" of the car.  the rest of the car is alright for now.  We don't want to paint the whole car as the money isn't there, but we'll see how it goes.  The paint isn't the worst so we'll try to buff it all out.
