Post by: kombikruiser on January 27, 2004, 06:00:12 PM
Any of you have a front beam with lowered spindles you are looking to get rid of?
Mines starting to get rist pits at the welds and i currently have the adjusters, which i'm not too fond of.
67 bug.

Disk brakes are welcome.

Thanks

Vic

The adjusters are a good way to lower, the drop spindles is just a great addition to a lowered beam. makes it a nice ride down low. The drop spindles only drop the car about 2.5 inches and a beam usually will allow up to 4-6 inches. Save your cash and buy both

I'm sure the rust is repairable - if not airspeed has a good deal on spindles n beams

i agree the combo is best, but it's way too harsh with only the adjusters; just looking for a little more spring.

the rust has been repaired before, and the beam is bent anyhow from a accident, so i wont use this one anymore.

thanks for the advice

still lookin ...
