Hi all new here and hoping someone can help. I'm building a Manx clone buggy on a 74/5 type1 chassis. I started out with a 68 swing axle type1, shortening it and then trying to do the reggy search etc to no avail, so I gave up that (still have a mint, shortened pan and it's for sale cheap) and went on to buy a 74/5 IRS 1600cc fuel injected type 1 donor, which I've just completed shortening.
My question is, has any other fool tried to do the fuel injection buggy thing. I've got all the wiring and controls etc and it looks to be do able but I'm not convinced the end result will be pleasing to the eye, especially the engine compartment. I love the look of dual carbs and the assoc. tin and would like to think I can do the same with injection, has anyone got any good pics and suggestions for a finish look. Possibly some one can post some contacts for parts etc and some pics of their own or found pics.
