what a blast!!!
big thanks to the folks from dubberz for throwing this together and for welcoming some acvw bretheren. it was cool to hang out & see some h2o cooled vws out....just too bad they left early.
6 cars met at chevron at 10am (sorry we were late
) and we all cruised to spanish banks and quickly staked our claim and set up camp. big thanks to jim martin for lending us the event tent...that thing was a saviour for many people!!! everyone came very well prepaired....coolers crammed full of all sorts of satisfying beverages, all kinds of bbq-able food (steaks, ribs, burgs, dogs, fish, k-bobs, ect), lots of chairs, blankets, bikes & bbq's....the weather was incredible and the company was enthusiastic!!
cars came & went (11 acvws all together), we had thrasherbill show up on his bike, bruce mc came by to say hi, tod mc even poked his head in...plus a few other that came over to see what was up.
all in all an amazing summer day at the beach....
