Gaskets For Swingaxle
« on: July 01, 2007, 08:37:47 PM »
I'm at the stage of attaching my axles to my swing box, and I'm curious to know the proper way to tell how many gaskets is enough.  Do I install enough gaskets so that I can still move the axle tube around with a little effort, or so that it moves easily, or so that it's stiff?

I've only had IRS cars and will appreciate any advice/tips.

Thanks!

Add enough gaskets until there is no binding anywhere.  It should be free to articulate through it's full motion without any tight spots.
