I might be interested in selling my 1970 beetle.  it has the 1600 single port engine, steel slider sun roof. it is taken apart now and i have been slowly puting it back together. I have all the glass except for the wind shield. there is 2 back seats, front seats in good shape, 99% of the wireing is installed,  there is no rust, the pan is in excallent condition. I have boxes of stuff to go through. but you have to finish off the job.  if your interested give me a call at 604-856-5857 ask for darryl

These are just a few of the cars avaliable!  Go south and get a Solid rust free car! you'll be happy you went through the hassle in the end.  its getting harder to find gerat cars up here!

My car will also be for sale.

72 super.  It has the flat windsheild like a standard beetle

I want $4000.00 for it once the rebuilt motor is put back in it. The rebuiltmotor  has approx 2000 miles on it but was taken out for a T4 motor which has been sold.

rebuilt 1600 dual port ( the whole motor was rebuilt, heads, rods, crank, new cam, lifters, linebore, pistons/cylinders.

Callook window rubber , all crome trim holes filled

The heater channels were rusted and fixed by previous owner.  All rubber bushings on the whole car were replaced with urathane bushings, drop struts with stiffer sport springs up front.  Can drop 4" from where it is now ( on its highest setting) ,brakes and wheel bearings  were done approx 3500 miles ago, new interior porsche tack.  $1400.00 for the tires and rims...  To many new parts to list.

I will be putting this in the buy and sell once I get the 1600 motor back in, which will be soon.  Also have a 72 super shell  which you can have also for free.  The shell has only 1 spot that has a rust issue which is why I wanted it in the first place as a spare.

Yes the licence plates are different because I didn't have time to get the T4 motor to pass aircare, I cancelled my insurance and took out new insurance.

Kevin

yah...ooooooo meme too!

for 14,000 g's a split 12 second car?  ok, you are looking at 7000+ for a split, restore some of the brakes and driving components minus tranny and motor (another 10,0000 at least ), and the list goes on!!!

kevin wants $4000 for his car.  build that motor and tranny for 9000-10000 and you're laughing!
