Speed E Wheel Question
« Reply #1 on: March 31, 2006, 03:17:49 PM »
The wheels on Speed-E are 16x6 front with a 205-45-16 the rears if I remember correct are 16x8 with 205-50-16. I have wheel adapters on the rear that push the wheel out aprox 3/4.

I did have 225-40-16's on the back before but they had 2mm clearance to the fender lip so I changed them.

well your panel is insperation for my 68 that's for sure, although mine isn't a panel or Porsche powered  [_[   I followed it's build along but didn't see anything on the wheels....I ended up with a set of Audi A4 turbo 7 spoke 16x7 with a 45et....mine will have bus disc's 5x112 and rear late drums...I know now that I will have to machine the center hub area for the dust cap, and possibly run spacers..as soon as I get my adjustable beam in and everything mounted I'll know more....thanks for the tire sizes as that is what I might run...I'll send in some pix when I get it to that point....
