T3 Front Apron Replacement

I'm looking at replacing my 69 squareback front apron and spare tire well. Where would I cut? I was thinking about cutting from just in front of the front beam mount straight up behind the luggage divider. Would this be a good spot?

Apron only:
Remove front fenders and drill out the spot welds in the flange of the front apron.
Complete front clip:
Remove fenders and fuel tank. Cut approx. half way up the rails on either side of the opening for your fuel tank. Make sure you stagger your cuts and use sleeves to reinforce your splices.
Good luck.(I'm kinda starting to miss bodywork.)
Jon.

Do you have a clip or do you need one?? I've been saving one in usable condition for some time.
