Title: Chrome trim

Looking for a link or advice on replacing the chrome trim on my 66 hood and sides. They line up nice from panel to door to panel but don't sit snug against the body. Pop them in tight and they  consistently pop out again after a few hours ....tried reshaping the clips etc ...still the same result..any advice would be appreciated

Use the German boots, the other replacement boots always make it sit to high.
