SOLD 1958 Logo panel - fresh field find
« on: October 13, 2011, 09:27:48 PM »
Posting this one for Stefan, (it's at our house and I have a picture so here it is). It's crusty but it doesn't have any windows hacked in, and it is an early panel.

Now SOLD

It doesn't have regi but it was licensed in BC so once you go through last resort it won't need to be inspected. The passenger side window is in there...just the picture angle hides it I guess.

Stefan did a bit of investigating (wetsanding) into the signwriting on the bus today. It says - "Camosun JANITORIAL SUPPLIES, Canadian BUILDING MAINTENANCE.
Camosun is a street in Victoria, BC. The bus also has university of Victoria parking decals on the windshields. There is a building Maintenance worker program at Camosun College, and a lot of the training is on the job.

Spoke to an instructor at Camosun College tonight who worked for the college back when this bus was in service. He confirmed the busses history....that it was used by the College for running errands and making deliveries. I e-mailed him a picture of the bus tonight to see what other memories it may jog. Neat to get some confirmation of it's history.

BUS IS SOLD - Thanks for looking
