have you looked at DTM's (down the middle)?  They flow better and are about the same price.

type4store.com (but they sell T1 stuff too)

ya i have, but that is one ugly shroud and it takes up way to much room in the engine compartment.  Plus i'm not using the stock oil cooler so its kinda a waste there too

Bugboy - how rushed are you for it? I have an almost complete kit - rebuilt alt, nice 11 blade fan, shroud, stand and strap. I am not sure if i am going to run it yet or the 36hp style shroud. I should have it figured within the next month and if i dont run it i will liquidate it... Gavin

custom speed parts in Germany has a real nice kit, very easy to put together and work pretty well. I paid $1400 for a carbon shroud and high amp alternator and that was shipped. took 5 weeks because they sent it US mail. If you get it UPS sent, it will take a week.

For similar or less money you can also order a Bergman kit which is real nice. Same as the one DDilley has on his 54.

make sure you do your homework on clearance height.  Some 911 fan kits are really tall and can be difficult to see the difference right away when they are off the engine.

they pop up on TheSamba every now and again.  Setup an email agent for one and be prepared to act fast.

ya some kits you have to machine down the fan housing.  thinking about just getting the good scat 36hp shroud and a 39m welded fan if nothing comes up.  it would just look killer to have the porsche stuff.
