i have a cb beam from airspeed.
i was wondering if i can adjust the adjusters independently?
i know i can physically but wondering if they should be kept the same top to bottom all the time when raising and lowering it?

I would think adjusting them seperatly (at two different indexes) would put undue strain on one or the other spring pack - I don't think it's a good idea.

Origionally the set screw positions are slightly different from each other top to bottom. I usually tighten down the adjusters where the sit, rarely the same, top tube to bottom tube.
