A long standing tradition in BC and a good kick off to the car show
season is the Easter car parades. These parades do not include slow
moving "floats" but give an owner with a vintage lic plate a reason
and excuse to drive their car. Before the implementation of the
collector plate in bc a vintage plate allowed these older vehicle to
be driven to car events and parades etc.
The vintage car club of Canada started in 1958.  Members
participated in the 1958 Centennial run from Trail to Victoria which
was re-enacted with some of the original cars and drivers in 2008.
The Vancouver chapter has around 200 members and for over 30 years
has hosted the Easter "parade/cruise" from the west Oakridge parking
 lot.
Numbers of cars varies year to year and dependant on weather 40 to
70 cars start gathering at 11 a.m. And head out to drive to the
Steveston Community Centre  at 1 p.m.
The oldest car on the run varies from year to year but in the recent
past a 1907 Northern,  1917 Crane Simplex and several cars in the
 teens have participated. 604 931 3336 www.vccc.com

In Kamloops the Easter parade was started in 1970 by the JayCees and
then taken over by the newly formed Kamloops chapter of the VCCC.
 The parade starts with a
Pancake Breakfast from 9a.m. to 11a.m. at Westsyde Park for
 Participants.
Cars line up from 11am to 1pm at the Westsyde Shopping Centre and
leaves at 1pm sharp. Open to Stock Vintage vehicles priorolder than
 1984 with
No rods, customs or modified vehicles accepted. $5 fee for non
Vintage car Club Members, police will escort participants on a
 leisurely 30 kmh cruise to
Riverside park and will arrive at around 1:45p.m. Following the
parade cars will be on display at Riverside Park until approx. 3pm

Downtown New Westminster has an Easter vintage car parade organized
by the Totem A&T Car club. This is the 30th year for the Hyak Easter
 parade.
Meets at 10 am at the Front street parkade and leaves at noon and
"Parades" through New West to Queens Park
Had close to 200 cars when the weather is good  604 734 7332
Totem A& T club one of the oldest vintage car clubs in the Vancouver area
started as primarily as a Ford model A & T club and now encompasses
all Marques as the members collections expand. Approx 180 members

...Totem A& T club one of the oldest vintage car clubs in the Vancouver area
started as primarily as a Ford Model A & T club and ...

Chronologically, it would be more correct to say "Ford Model T&A club"
