wtb beetle ragtop clip & mechanism

Anyone have a sunroof clip from an early beetle they won't be using? Not really sure what years will be correct for a 57 beetle but I think it's 56-63 isn't it? Beetle was a rollover and this would pretty much take care of the previously damaged area.

You'd want a 57 to 63 clip as 56's had squared off ends and were two folds rather than 3. Your best bet is The Samba and I wouldn't spend more than $300 to $500 for one.

55 was the last year for the 2 fold ragtop.

56 was the first year for the 3 fold ragtop and the cover itself has squared rear corners and round front corners.

57-63 are 3 fold ragtops with all rounded corners.
