Thought I should introduce myself. My name is Dan Owens.
I met some members of the board at the run in September. Other than the youngster I have only managed to figure out a couple of people by their messages.
I own the green one. I put it back on the road in 2000. The year before that I only saw 1 buggy running around. It's nice to see more coming out. Ive got an unofficial count of around 19 or 20 now that I have seen in the last 8 years.
This spring I will be picking up my uncles old buggy. ( he's the one who's responsible for me being into VW's )
There was a guy that showed up in Mission the day of the run, but was unable to make the trip. Sorry I am bad with names. I want to say ... Tom. Anyways it the exact same model body. Any ideas as to the name of that style.
